Finding A Meaning In Life And Athletics

  In the piece, “The World As I See It,” I believe the premise is life is a complex element, in which humans search for meaning within the comfort of others and knowledge. As said by Einstein, “Each of us are here for a brief sojourn; for what purpose he knows not, sometimes he thinks he can feel it.” A surplus amount of people believe they are put on this earth for a purpose. Therefore, why numerous of individuals go to religion, to be able to discover this purpose. Albert latter mentions, “I am strongly drawn to the simple life and am often oppressed by the feeling that I am engrossing an unnecessary amount of the labour of my fellow-men.“ Many individuals find the simple life attractive, mainly because life on its own is already an emotional roller coaster. Consequently, why plain living is healthier for people physically and mentally. Being On The Top Is Scarier Than Standing On The Ground

In the excerpt, “On The Genealogy of Morals” I believe the premise  of the piece to be ‘those with intelligence are often irresolute.’ A quote from the text that’s supports this idea says, “We don’t know ourselves, we knowledgeable people— we are personally ignorant about ourselves. And there’s good reason for that. We’ve never tried to find out who we are.” I believe the author, Fredrich, is sharing his  testimony  that those with intelligence are often afraid to express their true self. Fredrich later mentions, “Where we ourselves are concerned, we are not knowledgeable people.“ Intuitive thinkers tend to be insecure and fear they are not as intelligent as they portray themselves. So, they find it best to pretend to be someone they’re not, to appeal to societies standards of brilliance.
