Finding A Meaning In Life And Athletics

 

In the piece, “The World As I See It,” I believe the premise is life is a complex element, in which humans search for meaning within the comfort of others and knowledge. As said by Einstein, “Each of us are here for a brief sojourn; for what purpose he knows not, sometimes he thinks he can feel it.” A surplus amount of people believe they are put on this earth for a purpose. Therefore, why numerous of individuals go to religion, to be able to discover this purpose. Albert latter mentions, “I am strongly drawn to the simple life and am often oppressed by the feeling that I am engrossing an unnecessary amount of the labour of my fellow-men.“ Many individuals find the simple life attractive, mainly because life on its own is already an emotional roller coaster. Consequently, why plain living is healthier for people physically and mentally. After analyzing the text I think this piece is a posteriori because Albert Einstein has derived this information out of his own knowledge and is sharing his personal testimony.




I imagine this piece is able to strongly coincide with athletics because many athletes need to find a reason to do sports, similar to how regular people seek out a reason for living. When one participates in their particular sports they must have a reason to continue on, or else why bother pursuing this hobby? Click here The purpose on why people participate in a sport may stray from they need to work out to simply make their loved ones happy, but the most common and important reason is passion. The definition of passionate is “ showing or caused by strong feelings or a strong belief,” it is essential for an athlete to be passionate about their sport. For if they are not there is a severe lack in the portrayal of their skill, motivation, and incentive. Click here To succeed in life or in a sport is to refocus and find the passion once again and to not make things more complex than they are already.

To have the ability to counter the beliefs of the majority is genius within itself. Another statement from the text I would like to bring up is, "It may be safely trusted as proportionate and of good issues, so it be faithfully imparted, but God will not have his work made manifest by cowards." The author is referring to all the people who ignore their thoughts and stay in their comfort zone. People dismiss their own thoughts and ideas out of fear of being judged and wrong. Playing a sport provides a person with passion and a certain happiness.  click here  However, playing an instrument or being involved with music can also provide you with just as much joy and gaiety.  Both activities bestow an individual with an interest and/or hobby.  A hobby can be a very important thing for a human being because hobbies give a specific happiness and passion, that almost nothing else can give them.
