A Problem Solving Athlete
Good problem solvers aren't just naturally smart or excel through school because they were born with some gift. Good problem solvers have many self earned skills that are very helpful to themselves. The text states, "Good problem solvers have a sense of deliberateness. They think before they act." Many think that people of intelligence (or good problem solvers) should be able to solve a problem at the speed of light, but this is not the case. To be able to be a good problem solver you must review your work and make sure that every answer is accurate, which will definitely not make you the first to turn in the test. click here
Though, numerous people may deny it playing a sport requires problem solver skills as well! The passage says, "Good problem solvers stick to a task until it is completed. They don't give up easily." Just like a good problem solver athletes must be persistent in their sport, in order to become better. Another point in the text I would like to reference is, "Good problem solvers value accuracy, precision, and craftsmanship and take time to check over their products." Accuracy and precision should be as important to an athlete as food and water is to everyone else. In every sport in order to score the goal or get that final point every action you make must be precise because in the end the only thing that matters is how accurate you were. click here
